ABOUT THE COMPANY

M-Elec was founded by ‘The Mobbs Family’ (Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia) drawing expertise from a combined electrical experience of over 30 years.

Whilst electrically maintaining many buildings over the years, the Mobbs family realised the need for products that were durable, small in size, electrically efficient, visually appealing and most of all, reasonably priced. For a long period of time, the only option available to clients was fluorescent-type fittings for slimline applications and 12V down-lights for a recessed ‘flush ceiling’ look.

However, after many years of research, M-Elec is now able to offer a range of products that will meet the demanding needs of clients who want to lower power usage, increase lamp life, reduce maintenance costs and have the services of an innovative LED designer available to them.

The ML-ALUS system (view here) was proudly created and installed by M-Elec Pty Ltd, providing the first suitable commercial LED lighting.

ABOUT THE PRODUCTS

Traditionally LED (Light Emitting Diode) technology was used in cars, planes, displays and other commercial applications but was not generally used because of the expense and low light they provided.
